DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, June 18th from 1-6pm\, the American Red Cross is hosting a big Sound the Alarm event in Coatesville. During this event\, the Coatesville Fire Department\, Red Cross volunteers\, and community partners will come together to install free smoke alarms and provide essential fire safety education to residents. Our goal is to reach nearly 300 homes in Coatesville in a single afternoon.\n\nBy volunteering for this event\, community organizations can make a direct impact in Chester County by helping make homes safer and better prepared for emergencies.\n\nNo prior experience is required- we provide all training and supplies on site\, and volunteers can serve in a number of roles (installers\, educators\, or documenters).
